On April 2, we learned from relevant channels that Faraday Future (FF) has completed the update release of the remote OTA software, correcting the problem with the airbag warning light announced in March.
In early March, Faraday Future (FF) will recall all FF91 2.0 Alliance Edition vehicles produced between March 3, 2023 and December 2023 in the United States, a total of 11 vehicles. The reason for this recall is that a software error may prevent the airbag malfunction warning light from illuminating when the airbag control unit (ACU) detects a system fault. Warning lights that fail to properly indicate airbag malfunction may increase the risk of injury during a collision.
It is understood that this updated software has completed large-scale testing and implemented improvement measures to ensure that the vehicle meets FF’s safety standards. This highlights the company's commitment to user safety and its ability to proactively address potential issues.
In addition, FF founder and chief product and user ecology officer Jia Yueting said that the first launch of Xiaomi cars was very successful, reflecting the maturity of China's new energy vehicle industry chain in recent years and the huge advantages of China's manufacturing in cost-effectiveness. . In addition, he also pointed out that Xiaomi's execution and marketing capabilities in making cars are indeed worthy of praise, but its copycat culture, shortcut model and follower mentality are regarded as the norm by many people, which is worrying.
