New BMW X2 M35i winter test spy photos exposed, will adopt coupe SUV design

Recently, a set of spy photos of the new BMW X2 M35i undergoing winter testing in the Arctic Circle were exposed. The new car is expected to make its global debut at the end of 2023 and will go on sale in 2024. The biggest highlight of the new car is that it adopts a coupe SUV design that is very similar to the X4, with a stronger sense of sportiness.

In terms of appearance, as a high-performance model of the new BMW X2, the M35i model will adopt the M sports package design, with horn rearview mirrors and four exhaust outlets. In addition, the new car will also be equipped with M sports brakes and wheels.

As for the interior, the new car has not yet been exposed, but it is foreseeable that the new car will adopt the latest family-style design and will use the same curved screen as the new X1. The M35i model is expected to adopt sportier front seats, an M sports steering wheel and add some other M elements.

In terms of power, the new BMW X2 M35i will continue to be equipped with a 2.0T engine, which may reach 300 horsepower, matched with an 8-speed automatic manual transmission and an xDrive four-wheel drive system. In addition, an electric version of iX2 will be launched in the future.
